Frequently Asked Questions

The answers to all your doubts.

1. What is meant by location?

A location represents a physical place, such as a restaurant, a sales point or an office. Having multiple locations allows you to play different music in different locations or different music in different areas of a single location. Each location needs a dedicated device (PC, smart phone or tablet) to play the music. One device can be connected to one location at a time. You can play the same music in all your locations or select a different mood for each.

2. What music can I listen to with the personalized service?

You can listen to the music you want. Music Your Brand gives you access to hundreds of different moods created by our team of music experts or gives you the option to create an ad hoc one for your business (ask us how). A soundtrack (the musical mood) is an endless stream of music that is updated daily. A mood has no programming limits and is also perfect for every special occasion (Christmas, Halloween, etc.) to create the sound that best suits your business.

3. Can I broadcast my company\'s commercial advertisements and announcements?

Absolutely yes. Ask us how to do it: it\\\'s really simple. Your personalized radio is designed to broadcast commercials, announcements, jingles, time signals: you just need to create the announcement. It is also possible for you to sell your advertising space to your suppliers or clients.

4. Can I customize and enrich my radio services?

Of course, our Radio in Store web service has potentially no limits of enrichment other than those of your imagination; ask us what you want and we\'ll do it. You can have commercials, jingles, liners, personalized time signals, news, weather, horoscope, surveys, etc.

5. What I have to do in caso of software update?

You don\'t need to do anything, we\'ll manage everything remotly.

6. What actions are required in the event of changes or updates to the Radio in Store service?

All you need is an internet connection, a PC/tablet/smart phone, or else Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa and a sound system or pre-amplified speakers. Simply connect to our portal and/or download our dedicated app for iOS, Android, Windows 8 and 10. It is important to know that Google has imposed that apps/updates uploaded after August 1, 2018 must function “through” the Android 8.0 version of the device they are installed on. This means that if the Android operating system of your device is older than the 8.0 version you will need to update it in order to install our app. However, some older devices unfortunately do not even allow you to upgrade to Android version 8.0, so you will never be able to install this app onto them. As for the Windows operating systems for PC, the service is optimized for versions from 7 onwards. It is not possible to guarantee its operation in any of the earlier versions. If you do not want to use your PC, we can provide you with one of our pre-configured and customized set-top boxes on loan for use.

7. Can I use Radio in Store with the Google Home Assistant or with Amazon Echo?

Yes. You can use the service with both the Google Home Assistant and Amazon Echo Alexa. Once your profile is activated and permissions are maintained, the smart speaker greets you by name as you open the application and offers your personal Radio in Store. Otherwise, you will be able to listen to our radio. Ask us how to do it.

8. Can I use Music Your Brand with SONOS?

At the moment this is not possible because SONOS is a closed system for consumer and non-professional use, suitable for home use. But you can connect your device to Sonos via line-in by using an audio cable. Or buying the SONOS PORT directly from Sonos. Please check the compatibility of your system directly with Sonos Resellers.

10. If I use my own PC, do I need to install any software to receive Music Your Brand?

No, you don\'t have to install anything on your business PC to receive the radio, but if you prefer, you can download our free App for iOS, Android and Windows.
